At 4:34 p.m. on November 25, Tristan Lee Goodfellow, 33, of Charter Oak, was arrested for public intoxication after a disturbance occurred outside a residence on Birch Street in Charter Oak. At 11:28 a.m. on November 25, Goodfellow was arrested for assaulting a health care professional while at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.

At 9:58 p.m. on November 26, Boul Boul Machar, 18, of Denison, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Thefts, Vandalism, Miscellaneous

At 4:24 p.m. on November 25, Byron Meseck reported that an unknown party broke into the bathrooms at the Ricketts city park and used the toilets. No other damage was done besides the damage to the doors.

At 12:04 a.m. on November 26, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office assisted in a pursuit at 290th Street and J Avenue.

At 12:37 a.m. on November 26, Bryanna Sheil reported a gray 2007 Honda Accord stolen from Frederick Street in Arion.


At 5:34 a.m. on November 22, Anibal Rolando Aguilar Montoya struck a deer while driving a blue 2006 Hyundai Tucson east on Highway 30. The vehicle received $5,000 damage to the front end. The vehicle was towed to Waderich’s in Denison. No injuries were reported.

At 4:15 a.m. on November 26, Kak Rik reported that his vehicle had struck a deer on Highway 30 east of 313th Street. Significant damage was done to the front end of the vehicle.

A number of accidents were reported during the time precipitation fell beginning late in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 26.

At 3:03 p.m. Audubon County reported an accident on Highway 59 near W Avenue.

At 4:56 p.m. an individual reported a vehicle possibly in the ditch on Donna Reed Road.

At around 5 p.m. a number of individuals called the Crawford County Law Enforcement Center about a semi accident that occurred on Highway 30 near Vail. No injuries were reported.

At 6:43 p.m. a number of individuals called the Crawford County Law Enforcement Center to report that a semi had jack-knifed on Highway 39 near the intersection with Vernon Voss Road. The semi-tractor was damaged. No further information was available as of press time late on Wednesday afternoon.

A hit-and-run accident occurred at 8:40 a.m. on November 26 in Denison. Megan Ludwig told the investigating officer that her vehicle was hit at Camelot Square, located on 5th Avenue North near North 10th Street, and that she noticed the damage when she left WESCO Industries. Information about the other vehicle or owner was unknown at the time of the report. Ludwig’s black 2014 Dodge Durango received $5,000 damage to the driver’s side rear bumper.
