Consumers Credit Union front, 3-30-2018

John Fairbanks, of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Office of Public and Congressional Affairs, told the Bulletin and Review that the Omaha, Nebraska, field office of the FBI is conducting an investigation of Consumers Credit Union in Denison.

Huston Pullen, Outreach Specialist with the Omaha FBI office, said he could not provide information about any ongoing investigation.

According to employee Lisa Hicks, Janine Keim, who had been the CEO/Manager, and Brenda Jensen are no longer employees of Consumers Credit Union.

Hicks is now listed by the NCUA as the credit union’s CEO/Manager.

Consumers Credit Union was chartered in 1962 as a non-federal credit union.

The NCUA lists the credit union’s assets at $6,698,635 with members numbering 1,410.
