Fourteen acts performed at Washington Park for the Bill Riley Talent Search on Wednesday. In the sprout division (two through 12 years old), third place went to Brooklyn Miller performing “Enter the Circus.” Second place went to the tap quintet of Marley Boettger, Lauryn Muff, Keagen Eischeid, Anna Galvin and Saige Raasch performing “Boogie Shoes.” The quintet qualified for the Iowa State Fair competition because the first place winner, Brigid Bonner, had already qualified. Bonner performed a tap solo to “The Mad Hatter.”

In the senior division (13 through 21 years old), the tap duet of Natalie Burk and Hannah Harris took third place. Taryn Schuning took second place with a musical theater solo performance to “The National Pastime.” Schuning qualified for the Iowa State Fair competition because the first place winner, Bailey Miller, had previously qualified. Miller performed a lyrical solo to “Listen to Your Heart.”
