Relay For Life

Hope will be the message as Crawford County Relay For Life begins this evening at 5 p.m. at Denison High School.

This year most of the events will take place in the gymnasium.

Relay For Life raises funds to use in the fight against cancer, but it also raises hope and raises awareness about the progress being made in detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer and the increase in cancer-survivor rates.

Among the speakers this year is Logan Tibben. He first spoke at Relay For Life 17 years ago as a 12-year-old who had battled neuroblastoma.

Other speakers will be Dr. David Wright and a representative of the St. Anthony Cancer Center.
