Arrests, Charges and Warrants

At 3:58 p.m. on March 16, Kendrick Boima Fahnbulleh, 27, of Denison, was arrested for interference of official acts after providing false name and date of birth.

At 2:05 a.m. on March 17, Chak Wuol Dey, 33, of Mankato, Minnesota, was arrested for disorderly conduct. According to the report, the incident occurred at Book ‘Em Dano’s.

At 7:43 p.m. on March 20, Linda Ann Baker, 47, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for theft in the fifth.

The Denison Police Department charged Kristina Marie Fuller, 18, and Dennis Allen Ahrenholtz, 21, each with four counts of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office charged Ahrenholtz with one count of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, according to online court files. Incident reports from the Denison Police Department list four instances of windows being shot out of four different vehicles, all reported on March 15. The court filing lists that the four incidents for which both Fuller and Ahrenholtz were charged occurred on March 14 and that the fifth incident for which Ahrenholtz was charged occurred on March 20. The charges are all aggravated misdemeanors.

At 2:10 a.m. on March 20, Zachary Roger Preul, 30, was arrested on three Crawford County warrants, according to a Crawford County Sheriff’s Office incident report. Court documents checked on Thursday afternoon show the warrants served were for three counts of violating a no-contact order and assault, simple misdemeanors; trespass, 1st offense, a simple misdemeanor; and criminal mischief, 2nd degree, a felony. The offense date for all charges is listed as March 9.

Thefts and Vandalism

At 11:30 p.m. on March 14, Dennis Ray Beymer reported the driver’s window of his silver 2000 Honda CRV was shot out by a BB gun causing $550 in damage.

At 1:45 a.m. on March 17, Kevin Eugene Lefeber, 31, of Dow City was transported to the Crawford County Jail and charged with burglary in the third degree. Stolen was $55 from a business in Denison.

Accidents

At 8:18 a.m. on March 18, Jason Dillon Gesy, 17, of Denison, driver of a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was eastbound on 5th Avenue North from 525 North 14th Street in Denison. A red 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was parked, unattended, facing eastbound on 5th Avenue North at the residential drive access to 424 North 15th Street. Gesy struck the left rear of the red Chevrolet pickup with his truck’s right front. The red pickup was illegally parked by a posted “No Parking This Side” sign. The owner of the red pickup was issued a written warning for no insurance and a parking citation for illegal parking.

Police reports received after Thursday night's deadline

At about 10:38 a.m. on March 20, Cody Alan Lile, 37, of Denison, caused property damage to the cell he was in at the Crawford County Jail. A metal plate received $20 worth of damage, according to the police report.

At 11:52 a.m. on March 21, Tyson Patrick Campbell, 46, of Denison, was arrested on an active Crawford County warrant.

At 11:41 p.m. on March 21, Jill Renea Matthews, 54, of Denison, was arrested for driving while suspended and cited for failing to obey a traffic control device and failing to prove security against liability, non-accident.

A two-vehicle accident happened at 11 a.m. on March 21 on 1st Avenue North in Denison. Andrea Lynn Wonder, 40, of Denison, was driving a green 1999 Chevrolet west as Gloria Jean Kuehnhold, 72, of Denison, was backing a green 1995 Ford XPL from a parking stall and caused a collision. Kuehnhold was cited for unsafe backing. Her vehicle received $1,000 damage and Wonder’s vehicle received $1,500 damage. No one was injured and both vehicles were driven away.
