Arrests

At 8:03 p.m. on December 2, Kimberly Ann Mefferd, 27, of Ida Grove, was arrested for using a 100 dollar motion picture prop bill to purchase two packs of cegarettes at Sparky’s gas station in Denison. She was charged with forgery, a Class D felony. She was released on her own recognizance on December 5. A preliminary hearing has been set for 11 a.m. on December 21.

At 6:13 p.m. on December 3, Matt Hannan, 32, of Kiron, was arrested for domestic abuse assault, 1st offense, a simple misdemeanor. He was released on his own recognizance on December 4. A no-contact order was issued, and a pretrial conference was set for 9:30 a.m. on December 21.

At 7:37 p.m. on December 3, Ann Marie Nickole Martinez, 22, of Denison, was arrested for driving with a suspended license. She was driving a silver 2007 Ford Mustang at the intersection of Broadway and Main Street.

At 2:15 p.m. on December 4, Bemjamin Harlston, 27, of Denison was arrested for domestic abuse assault, display or use a weapon, 1st offense, an aggravated misdemeanor, and violation of a no contact order. According to the criminal complaint filed in district court, the victim told the investigating officer that Harlston had a knife to her throat and was making threats to kill her. A hearing for an initial appearance was set for 11 a.m. on December 14.
