Arrests, Charges and Violations

On March 8, Zachary Preul violated a no-contact order.

At 9:56 p.m. on March 12, Susan Kay Ogren, 42, of Denison, was arrested for public intoxication, first offense and disorderly conduct.

At 3:14 a.m. on March 13, Sergio Anthony Hernandez-Cerna, 21, of Denison was arrested for trespass, first offense. At 4:13 p.m. on March 15, warrants were requested for public intoxication, first offense and attempted burglary, third degree.

At 10:57 a.m. on March 15, Tyson Patrick Campbell, 48, of Denison was arrested for operating while intoxicated.


At 5 p.m. on March 16, Burton Whited reported a mailbox at 1807 1st Avenue South in Denison had been vandalized.

At 3:14 p.m. on March 16, Lonnie Valentine of Schleswig reported all four tires slashed on his 2009 Dodge Ram pickup which was parked on the street in front of his house.

At 5:16 p.m. on March 16, vandalism was reported in the lobby of the Post Office in Charter Oak. Papers were put in the drop box and items were taken off the walls. This is not the first time this has happened.


At 4:20 p.m. on March 14, a two-vehicle accident occurred in the parking lot at Smithfield Foods. Cathy Salinas, 53, of Denison, was backing a white 2000 Lexus northbound in the parking lot. Jorge Luis Ramos, 52, of Denison, was driving a red 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup north in the same lot. The Salinas vehicle was covered with fresh mud, which obstructed the majority of the view through the rear window. The vehicles struck. The Salinas vehicle received $1,000 damage to the left, rear corner. The Ramos vehicle received $100 damage to the front center. The parking lot had a coating of fresh mud due to the Boyer River flooding on March 13.

At 12:15 p.m. on March 15, Stacy Alan Rayevich, 43, of Castana, driver of a black 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, was eastbound on Highway 30 in Denison approaching 17th Street. Thomas Martin Jones, 64, of Denison, driver of a white 2014 Ford F-150 pickup was westbound on Highway 30 in the inside lane at 17th Street. Rayevich crossed the center line and continued east in the westbound inside lane. Jones came to a stop as Rayevich approached and then Rayevich then collided head-on with Jones. Rayevich was charged with improper use of lane. Jones’s vehicle sustained $15,000 in damage and Rayevich’s vehicle sustained $5,000 in damage.
