At 2:17 p.m. on October 30, an accident with no injuries was reported in Westside. According to the incident report, Janet Rose pulled away from the stop sign at Main and 2nd Street traveling west. Judith Nelson was traveling south on Main Street. Due to Rose’s failure to yield the right of way, Nelson’s vehicle struck Rose’s vehicle on the passenger side and the front wheel area, causing damage to the wheel and the passenger side doors. Nelson’s vehicle received front-end damage with air bags deploying.
At 1:38 a.m. on November 1, Richard Strickler reported hitting an animal on Highway 59 two to three miles north of Denison.
At 11:06 a.m. on October 28, Karen Peterson, of Manilla, reported a purse and phone stolen from a vehicle.
