At 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, Christopher Cervantes was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Crawford County warrant. Also arrested was James Gangsted on a Crawford County warrant.
At 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, Hector Cantu Jr., 20, of Denison was arrested on a South Dakota arrest warrant.
At 10 p.m. on August 3, Walmart in Denison reported a theft of 36 items totaling $401.92.
At 12:45 p.m. on August 7, Moises A. Estrada-Alvarez, 71, of Denison, driver of a red 2009 Toyota Corolla and Tayler Ann Ransom, 25, of Arcadia, driver of a black 2018 Jeep Renegade were both heading west on Highway 30 around the 1000 block. Alvarez was traveling in the north lane and Ransom was traveling in the south lane. Alvarez put on his left turn signal and initiated a lane change into the south lane. Ransom was occupying that space and was sideswiped by Alvarez. There was $2,500 damage to the Alvarez vehicle and $1,000 damage to Ransom’s vehicle. Alvarez was cited for improper use of lanes.
