At 4:14 p.m. on June 6, RoseMarie Esperanza Reyna Nava Espiritu, 19, of Denison, was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Highway 30 in Denison.
At 12:45 a.m. on June 12, Joshua Michael Hoffmann, 28, of Glidden, was arrested for public intoxication at Hilldale Estates in Denison.
At 5:32 p.m. on June 5, Alexis Leann Neumann, 16, of Denison, driver of a white 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, was backing out of a parking stall in front of Body Works. Juan O. Molina, 49, of Vail, was driving a maroon 2007 Chevrolet Malibu north on 12th Street. Neumann’s Equinox struck Molina’s vehicle in the right front. Obstruction of view was noted for both drivers due to other vehicles parked next to Neumann. There was $500 damage to Neumann’s vehicle and $500 damage to the Molina vehicle.
At 5:51 a.m. on June 10, a black 2017 Ram pickup was parked properly overnight in the parking stall in front of the residence at Lot 85 of Chamberlin Drive without the vehicle overhanging in the traveled portion of the street. Damage was reported to the front bumper of the pickup amounting to approximately $1,500. No one reported witnessing the accident.
At 4:12 p.m. on June 10, Yorleny Banegas Ferien, 26, hit a deer causing approximately $5,000 to his vehicle. The accident occurred on Highway 30 west of Country View near Denison.
At 5:29 p.m. on June 11, Stephen A. France, 69, of Osage Beach, MO, driver of a gray 2014 Jeep, was headed north on Highway 59 when he came to the intersection with Highway 39. Thomas Francis Blum, 63, of Denison, driver of a red 2005 GMC Sierra pickup, was headed west on Highway 39 and was making a left turn onto Highway 59 to head south. France did not stop at the stop sign and his vehicle collided with Blum’s pickup, which was proceeding through the intersection. France’s vehicle rolled a number of times before coming to a stop between the north and southbound lanes on Highway 59. Blum’s pickup stopped in the intersection where the collision took place. France was taken by paramedics to Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) for examination of a cut on the right side of his head. Blum was also taken to CCMH for a complaint of head and neck pain. France was cited for failing to stop at the stop sign and failing to yield to the vehicle on the right. Both vehicles were towed by Waderich’s in Denison. There was $20,000 damage to the Jeep and $10,000 to the pickup.
At 5:35 a.m. on June 11, there was a report of an accident involving a vehicle hitting a deer on Highway 59 and I Avenue in Schleswig. No injuries were reported.
On June 10, Matt Knowles, of Charter Oak, reported a door kicked in.
At 12:20 a.m. on June 12, Daryl Hacker, of Aspinwall, reported an unknown vehicle drove through a fence and field and over a large retaining wall south of his house.
