The IKM-Manning boys dropped their fifth straight game on Thursday night after a 12-2 Western Iowa Conference baseball loss in five innings to AHST/Walnut at Avoca.
With the loss, IKM-Manning fell to 1-7 in the WIC and 2-7 overall.
AHST/W opened the scoring with six runs in the bottom of the first inning.
IKM-Manning plated single runs in the second and third frames and trailed 11-1 before the host Vikings pushed another run across in the fifth to end the game by the 10-run rule.
Ethan Carter went 2-for-2 with one run scored to pace IKM-M.
Alex Lingle went 1-for-3 with one run and Nolan Ramsey was 1-for-3 as well.
Lingle started on the mound and took the loss in just one-third of an inning, as he gave up six runs on five hits.
Amos Rasmussen then tossed three and one-third in relief, yielding six runs on six hits with one K and two walks.
