Neilsen followed with seven digs. Cooper also had four digs for a BV club that will lose four seniors to graduation in Miller, Fokken, Taylor Klein and Marie Hanigan.
For St. Albert, Allie Petry led her team at the net with 17 kills.
Lauren Williams also had nine kills for the Saintes, which won for the ninth time in 10 matches.
They are good. Real good. I firmly believe St. Albert has a legitimate chance to win the Class 1A state title," commented BV’s Neilsen.
"I thought our girls did what they could, but it was a simple matter of being outmatched. I’m proud of the girls for their effort and the way that we ended the season," he added.
For the season as a whole, there was about a 10-day stretch in the middle of conference play that really hurt us, but our kids found a way to pick up the pieces and get back to playing good volleyball," Neilsen said.
"I’m not sure many groups could have, or would have bounced back like this team did," the Lady Bulldog boss stated.
