BV runners at Logan

Boyer Valley ran seventh in the boys’ portion of the Logan-Magnolia Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday at Logan.

The BV boys tallied 172 points as a team.

Tri-Center claimed the boys’ team title with 50 points.

On the girls’ side, BV competed with only three girls and had no team points.

Logan-Magnolia was your team champion for the girls with 37 points.

Pat Heffernan led the BV boys by placing 17th overall and taking home a medal in 17 minutes, 53.68 seconds.

He was followed by Nathaniel Green (33rd, 18:56.13), Clay Roberts (36th, 19:10.68), Ethan Hanigan (41st, 19:30.09), Jack Heistand (66th, 20:38.96) and Ian Garside (70th, 21:18.65).

Kylie Petersen paced the BV girls, finishing 30th in 23:01.16.

Nicole Behrendt ran 99th in 34:24.88 and Carly Lehan wound up 102nd for the Lady Bulldogs.
