BV boys fall to CAM on baseball diamond

Boyer Valley dropped a 6-4 decision to CAM in Rolling Valley Conference baseball action on Monday night at Dunlap.

The loss put Dan Steele’s BV club at 1-6 in the RVC and 1-8 overall.

BV led 2-0 after one inning and was up 3-1 after four innings. CAM then scored two in the top of the fifth to tie it at 3-3 and then plated three runs in the sixth to take a 6-3 advantage.

The host Bulldogs got one back in their half of the sixth.

Jaidan TenEyck went 1-for-3 with two runs for BV. Hunter Soma was 1-for-2 with one RBI and one run. Lucas Berens went 1-for-3.

Conlan Petersen also was 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Adam Puck finished 1-for-4 as well.

Petersen threw six innings for the loss, allowing six runs on four hits with seven Ks and two walks.

Puck also tossed one inning, yielding no runs on one hit with two Ks.
