BV boys upended 11-1 by Hawkeyes

The Boyer Valley boys lost 11-1 in six innings to West Harrison in Rolling Valley Conference baseball action on Wednesday night at Dunlap.

The loss was the second in a row for BV, which fell to 1-7 in the RVC and 1-9 overall.

BV scored its lone run in the third inning and had only two hits on the night.

Adam Puck went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and Kyle Hast was 1-for-3 for Dan Steele’s squad.

Jaidan Ten Eyck tallied the lone run for the Bulldogs.

Hunter Soma threw five innings for the loss, as he allowed seven runs on six hits, struck out three and walked five.

Hast tossed two innings in relief, yielding two runs on two hits with three walks.
