The Boyer Valley girls and boys picked up a pair of Rolling Valley Conference victories over Coon Rapids-Bayard on Friday night at Dunlap.
In game one, Larry Neilsen’s BV club snapped a three-game losing streak with a 44-21 victory.
Then in game two, the BV boys rallied from a 24-18 halftime deficit to pull off a 48-42 triumph over the visiting Crusaders.
With Friday’s 23-point win, the BV girls moved to 3-5 in the RVC and 3-8 overall on the season.
BV cruised from the start, outscoring CR-B 18-3 in the first quarter and leading 25-9 at halftime. It was 37-17 after three quarters.
Katelyn Neilsen led BV with 12 points and six rebounds, adding three steals and two assists.
Chelsey Fundermann had 10 points and five boards. Katy Puck finished with nine points, three assists and three steals, while Marie Hanigan had six points, four boards and three steals.
Leah Cooper also had three points, five boards and three steals for the Lady Bulldogs.
The win for BV snapped a two-game losing streak, as the Bulldogs moved to 4-4 in the RVC and 5-5 overall.
Down 24-18 at halftime, BV outscored CR-B 14-7 in the third quarter to take a 32-31 lead into the fourth.
The Bulldogs then outscored the Crusaders 16-11 over the final eight minutes.
Dylan Berens paced BV with 14 points and nine boards.
Gavin Reineke added eight points, eight assists and five boards. Adam Puck also had eight points and two steals.
Lucas Berens finished with six points and six boards for the Bulldogs.
