BV girls fall at home to Crusaders

BV softball vs. Crusaders

Coon Rapids-Bayard picked up a 9-2 Rolling Valley Conference softball victory over Boyer Valley on Monday night Dow City.

The loss dropped BV to 0-4 in the RVC and 0-5 overall.

The Lady Bulldogs managed six hits.

Talia Burkhart went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles for BV.

Leah Cooper, Taylor Klein, Alexia Miller and Kenzie Dumbaugh all hit safely with singles as well.

Nicole Behrendt took the pitching loss, as she gave up nine hits, struck out two and walked eight.
