The Boyer Valley boys and girls were in competition at the Ace Nelson Relays on Monday at Denison.
The BV boys netted 60 points for seventh place, while the BV girls finished with 29 points for ninth in their division.
Tyler Brummer was a three-event winner to lead BV’s attack, as he took gold in the long jump (19 feet, 11 inches), 110-meter high hurdles (15.36) and 400 hurdles (56.86).
BV’s Justin Ambrose also won the 3,200-meter run in a time of 10:34.64.
Ambrose finished fifth in the 800-meter run (2:16.0), while the Bulldogs’ 4x400 relay team of Hunter Soma, Trevor Malone, Gavin Reineke and Ambrose ran fifth in 4:00.69.
Leah Cooper had the best individual finish for BV at Denison, placing third overall in the long jump with an effort of 14-9 1/2.
BV’s 4x800 relay team of Marie Hanigan, Jaci Petersen, Paige Ringenberg and Abby Burkhart took third in 11:20.22.
Ringenberg also took fifth in the high jump at 4-4. Hanigan ran sixth in the 800-meter run in 2:44.26.
The BV girls also placed sixth in three relays: the shuttle hurdle (1:24.73), distance medley (5:22.80) and 4x400 (5:03.65).
