CAM upends Boyer Valley boys in six

CAM earned a 14-4 victory in six innings over Boyer Valley in Rolling Valley Conference baseball action on Friday night at Anita.

The loss dropped BV to 1-13 in the RVC and 3-15 overall.

BV jumped up 2-0, but then CAM took the lead for good in the second with four runs.

The host Cougars led 13-4 when scoring a run in the bottom of the sixth to win by the 10-run rule.

The Bulldogs had seven hits on the night.

Conlan Petersen went 2-for-2 with a double, one run batted in and one run. Dylan Berens was 2-for-3.

Adam Puck finished 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run. Kyle Hast also went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Jaidan Ten Eyck wound up 1-for-2 as well.

Trevor Malone threw one and one-third, taking the loss after giving up four runs on no hits with five walks.

Jonathon Shimerdla and Jesse Soma both saw time in relief on the mound.
