Carroll knocks off D-S girls in golf

The Denison-Schleswig girls’ golf team dropped a 177-209 decision to Carroll High on Thursday at Carroll.

Carroll’s Mallory Schultes and Josie Pettitt finished one-two overall with scores of 41 and 42, respectively.

Kelsey Jorgensen was low for the D-S girls with a 50.

She was followed by Jamie Jepsen and Camryn Schultz with identical scores of 52. Tessa Petersen carded a 55, while Brooke Kropf and Brooke Brown both shot 57s for the Monarchs.

The D-S junior varsity girls shot a team total of 248.

Bailey Roecker was low for D-S with a 58.

She was followed by Grace Asmus (61), Miranda Meyer (64) and Katie Hennings (65).
