The IKM-Manning softball team saw its five-game losing streak end on Saturday with a 4-3 nonconference victory over Kuemper Catholic at Carroll.
With the win, IKM-Manning improved to 6-13 overall on the year.
Ahead 1-0 after one inning, the Wolves plated three runs in the top of the second to make it 4-0.
Kuemper Cathlic tallied two runs in its half of the second to make it 4-2 and then pushed the game’s final run across in the fifth.
IKM-Manning won with just four hits.
Joanna Freese went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in.
Bianca Cadwell went 1-for-4 and Grace Youngren was 1-for-2.
Lexi Branning plated two runs for the Wolves, while Amber Halbur and Jessica Christensen each scored once.
Cadwell threw all seven innings for the win, as she gave up three runs on 10 hits, struck out five and walked two.
