L-B clips Wolves on baseball diamond

IKM-Manning lost a tight 1-0 decision to Lawton-Bronson in nonconference baseball action on Monday night at Manilla.

The loss dropped IKM-Manning to 6-15 overall on the year.

The Wolves managed five hits in the setback.

Will Jorgensen paced the hosts by going 2-for-3 with a pair of singles.

Ethan Carter, Dane Blom and Jerod Henkelman all hit safely with singles for the hosts.

Max Nielsen suffered the pitching loss, as he started and threw four innings, allowing the one run on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks.

Alex Lingle also tossed three innings, yielding no runs on two hits with six Ks and two walks.
