Rocket boys edge Hawkeyes in RVC action

Rocket boys vs. WH

Ar-We-Va won its third straight baseball game on Friday night after a 3-2 victory over West Harrison in Rolling Valley Conference action at Westside.

The win improved Ar-We-Va to 3-1 in the RVC and 4-2 overall.

Austin Stoelk’s Rocket club scored single runs in the second and third innings, as the hosts won with only three hits.

Drew Schurke went 1-for-1 with a double and one run.

Keegan Simons was 1-for-2 and Henry Segebart finished 1-for-3.

Schurke threw all seven innings for the win, as he gave up just two hits, struck out 10 and walked three on the night.
