Rockets drop baseball season opener to Titans

Rocket baseball vs. Titans

Ar-We-Va’s 2019 baseball opener on Monday night resulted in a 10-4 loss to South Central Calhoun at Westside.

Ar-We-Va collected only two hits in the game off four SCC pitchers.

Will Ragaller went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two stolen bases for the Rockets.

Henry Segebart also was 1-for-4 with a stolen base.

Damon Ehlers drove in both runs for Ar-We-Va, while Dalton Ehlers added an run for the hosts.

Segebart opened on the hill and took the loss in two innings of work, as he gave up five runs on three hits with three strikeouts and four walks.

Drew Schurke, Ragaller and Cooper Kock all followed on the hill for the Rockets.
