The Ar-We-Va boys pulled away for a 14-4 victory in six innings over Boyer Valley in Rolling Valley Conference baseball action on Friday night at Westside.
The win moved Ar-We-Va to 4-2 in the RVC and 5-3 overall, while the loss dropped BV to 1-8 in the conference and 1-10 overall.
BV scored all four of its runs in the top of the second to take a 4-2 lead, but then Ar-We-Va netted four runs in the last of the second to take the lead for good at 6-4.
The Rockets used a five-run fifth-inning to break the game open and eventully win by the 10-run rule.
Will Ragaller went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored to lead Ar-We-Va.
Keegan Simons was 3-for-5 with a double and three runs. Dalton Ehlers was 3-for-5 with one RBI and three runs as well.
Drew Schurke also finished 1-for-4 with a double, one RBI and three runs. Damon Ehlers went 1-for-3 with three RBIs and one run.
Henry Segebart opened on the hill for the Rockets and earned the win in two innings of work, as he gave up four runs on one hit with one strikeout and three walks.
Ragaller also tossed four innings and struck out five in throwing 56 pitches.
For BV, Hunter Soma went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Adam Puck also was 1-for-3.
Jesse Soma suffered the pitching loss in four innings, as he yielded eight runs on nine hits with four Ks and two walks.
Puck also tossed one and one-third, allowing six runs on four hits with one K and two walks.
