Wolves defeat Riverside girls

The IKM-Manning girls evened their young season record at 1-1 overall on Tuesday night with a 10-4 victory over Riverside at Irwin.

Leading by only one run at 5-4, IKM-Manning plated two runs in the last of the fifth and three more in the sixth to break the game open.

Lexi Branning went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored for the Wolves.

Sammy Halbur also was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and four runs scored.

Bianca Cadwell finished 1-for-2 with a triple and three RBIs, while Jessica Christensen was 1-for-1 with a single in the win.

Cadwell tossed all seven innings for the win, as she gave up four runs (three earned) on four hits with two strikeouts and five walks.
